- Why did you decide to make a Lifestyle change?
I was miserable and depressed with the way I looked and felt. When my pants would not button on my trip home from the beach I realized that I needed to change my life. When I got home, I called Absolute FIT and my journey began.
- What were some of the techniques you used?
I went on a reduced calorie diet, met with Jack weekly for the accountability that I needed and just made a commitment to myself.
- What are or were some of your most difficult challenges?
Not eating when everyone else was, parties, family get-together's, and just going to the mall were hard for me at first but as I lost weight I became stronger.
- How has your transformation affected your life?
I feel so great about myself physically as well as mentally. It has changed my outlook on life and how I interact with others. All I can say is that I love my life now. I have a new found reason for getting out of bed and living.
- What is the most important piece of advice you have for others?
Always believe in yourself and never give up. I was desperate and thought I would never attain my goals but I have and I am here to tell you that you can too. You have to want It more than anything. You are worth it!!
- What are your goals for the future?
Maintain my weight for my lifetime, live a healthy lifestyle, exercise regularly and help others do the same.

- Why did you decide to make a Lifestyle change?
I went to the doctor with a headache and found out I have high blood pressure, fatty liver and I was border line diabetic.
- What were some of the techniques you used?
Started going to the gym 4 times per week, started walking when I got home in the evenings and started the take shape for life program.
- What are or were some of your most difficult challenges?
Being around family on the weekends for the family dinners. Holidays were real tough.
- How has your transformation affected your life?
I know that I added years to my life. I look and feel 100% better.
- What is the most important piece of advice you have for others?

- What are your goals for the future?

I was major overweight and the doctor told me that if the weight didn't come off, I would not live to be an old man. I started going the gym and I lost 25 - 30 lbs with exercise. I started the take shape for life program and I have lost a total of 179 lbs in less than a year. I feel like a new man. The doctor says that I have added years to my life.

- Why did you decide to make a Lifestyle change?
I, like most people struggled with the day to day battle of food and proper nutrition, I went to my regular physician for a basic check up, only to find I have a sever number of life threatening problems. What broke my heart the most is every one of them was preventable. He told me thru good foods and exercise that my current problems would subside, and he ask me what I wanted to do. I choose to do something about it.
- What were some of the techniques you used?
After speaking with Jack Bell, I was excited to say the least, to try the weight loss program. I had never seen anything which worked so well. It helped me to lose weight, have energy again, and made life fun again. After losing a large portion of weight I began working out at the gym as well as getting involved with the MST Boot Camp offered at the gym.
- What are or were some of your most difficult challenges?
Habits, with out question I am a compulsive eater, I eat when I'm hungry(which is hardly ever) or when I'm just finishing a meal I'm already thinking of my next. So for me it was stopping the cycle of what I had always done. Jack was very supportive in this area always offering me advice to get me through my weak moments.
- How has your transformation affected your life?
It has completely changed it, I have been able to get out and do more with my wife and family. I've gotten back a lot of the confidence that I had lost do to my weight gain. It allows me just to be more active and enjoy the things of life.
- What is the most important piece of advice you have for others?
Be honest with yourself and never cheat your body. You love food and I personally understand but nothing taste as good as being healthy feels.
- What are your goals for the future?
Maintaining my current weight now, and possibly losing a few more pounds. It is an everyday trial, but through the support of Jack, the workers and customers of Absolute FIT, my family and friends I know that it is a battle I can win.

- Why did you decide to make a Lifestyle change?
I have a 4 year old who is very active. I would also like to have another child and be able to keep up with both. I also wanted to be healthier for myself. I wasn't happy with the way I looked or felt both physically and emotionally.
- What were some of the techniques you used?
LA weight loss, Nutrisystem, Phentremine along with shots, Weight watchers.
- What are or were some of your most difficult challenges?
Eating healthy while on the go.
- How has your transformation affected your life?
More energy, more self-esteem, able to play actively with my son.
- What is the most important piece of advice you have for others?
Don't give up-believe you are worth making a change-not necessarily for anyone else but for myself.
- What are your goals for the future?
To maintain a healthy weight and help my family develop healthy eating habits as well.
I have tried every other diet out there. My mom suggested I come see Jack at absolute fit and try the weight loss program. It has been the easiest thing I have ever done. The plan is easy to follow and the food is great-which is helpful. I feel like a new person after losing 90 something lbs. I have about 40 lbs. to go to reach my goal weight. When I started I think I was overwhelmed about needing to lose almost 150 lbs. I don't think I ever truly thought that I could do it. As I started to lose weight though I slowly started to believe that I could reach my goal. The support from Jack and his staff at Absolute fit as well as my family and friends made my new found weight loss journey much easier.

- Why did you decide to make a Lifestyle change?
For me, it took seeing a picture of myself and my husband. I was displeased with the noticeable weight gain. No matter how encouraging and loving and supportive my husband was, I was the only one who could do something about my weight. Losing weight took dedication and a commitment to myself that I wanted to see the weight gone.
- What were some of the techniques you used?
Structured weight management program, working out 4-5 x's a week including strength training and taking classes offered at Absolute fit.
- What are or were some of your most difficult challenges?
Being patient with weight loss. I wanted immediate results-one workout 10 lbs. gone! It was hard at times to not visibly see instant results, but after a time they were there and noticeable! Staying committed was not always easy, but how great it feels to have lost 20 lbs!
- How has your transformation affected your life?
Losing 20 lbs. goes a long way in my overall attitude. I have more confidence and that confidence flows into many different areas of my life. I know that Christ is my greatest source of confidence and joy, but losing 20 lbs. has helped me to take the focus off "me".
- What is the most important piece of advice you have for others?
The greatest piece of advice I could give anyone would be having a personal relationship with Christ. The bible says that thru Christ I can do all things, and that includes losing weight, having confidence, and letting his joy reign in me. Losing weight is great, but the greatest joy and gain in life is knowing Christ.
- What are your goals for the future?
In regards to weight loss-maintaining a healthy lifestyle that includes healthy choices; choices from food to exercise.

- Why did you decide to make a Lifestyle change?
I was getting tired of the way I looked and looking back I see I don't have many pictures of myself with my children because I was always ashamed of my looks.
- What were some of the techniques you used?
Exercise and diet changes, lifestyle changes. I also used weight management program when my own diet was not working as well for me, this got me started again and gave me encouragement to go on.
- What are or were some of your most difficult challenges?
Family gatherings where food is the focus. I try to avoid the situation but as my lifestyle is changing it is not as hard for me.
- How has your transformation affected your life?
I feel so much better and feel like doing lots more, especially with my children. I am not as embarrassed as I use to be when I am out with others.
- What is the most important piece of advice you have for others?
I know that if I did this, others can. I have always been one that says I wouldn't be able to lose this amount of weight. I thought I would always be the "fat mom".
- What are your goals for the future?
I would like to maintain a healthy weight and exercise regularly, even when I don't feel like it. I don't want to reverse what I have done.
I am 40 years old and I have younger children. As I look at them growing up I have decided once and for all I have got to do something about my weight. I want to be here for them and be able to do things with them instead of just watching. I also need to do this for me because I don't want all the health problems that come with the extra weight. I did not want to be the big lady in the nursing home one day required all the extra staff to help with my care. I could just see that coming if I didn't do something. I wanted to feel better. My husband is very loving and caring and has always told me he didn't care what size I was. I appreciate that but I know he enjoys my weight loss as much as I do. I am so glad I started this journey and stuck with it. I have diets I have tried in the past and never stuck with anything. I would always give up after 20 or 30 lbs. Not a good decision.

I came to Absolute FIT and spoke with Jack because I was under a doctor’s care for asthma. I had been taking prednisone for 16 months, in that time I had gained 70 plus lbs. could not exercise due in part because of my poor breathing. I explained to Jack my condition and concerns. He took my weight, measurements, lifestyle and health all into consideration and has created a program that suited my needs.
Jack is teaching me to change my lifestyle and eating habits in order to help me loose the weight that I have gained. Not only am I eating to loose weight, but now eating in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle from now long-tern. He has been personal training me 3 days a week for 6 weeks and in that time he has helped me drop 23.5 lbs, of the 23.5 lbs., 18.5 has been fat.
He has also has been able to help me maintain my muscle tone and loose the fat the correct way. Through my training sessions, he has been encouraging me and beside me for every rep and every exercise. He always asks questions in order to know how my body is responding and what my limitations are.
Jack knows when I can keep going and when my body has had enough. He and I have set goals for myself and I have been very happy with the results thus far. I know that what he is teaching me will pay off and enable me to reach my goals. I have a lot more to do, so stay tuned for more exciting updates and results.
